Information for Application
According with Erasmus Program requirements, the standards for admission, the application procedure and the joint student selection process will be organised on basis of common standards.
Available places per university: 7 (maximum of 21 students get enrolled as IMPAS each year)
You can only apply for one of the three universities.

Students (except those who benefit from EU scholarships) are responsible for covering the costs of participation in the programme, travel expenses and costs for room and board.
Students can apply for financial subsidies through existing mobility programs (scholarship).
Admission criteria:
A Bachelor Degree with the minimum mark “good” in Sports Science, Sports and Engineering, Physiotherapy or a technical discipline.
Applicants are expected to have a good command of spoken and written English. The minimum recommended requirement is:
- the British Council IELTS grade 6.5 or,
- CBTOEFL 213 or ,
- IBTOEFL 83 or,
- TOEFL 560.
Equivalent experience may include the successful completion of a non-UK degree in English or a significant period of residence/work placement in an English speaking country, for which evidence should be provided.
Practical knowledge of performance analysis of sport is desirable.

If you want to apply for OVGU Magdeburg you have to upload your documents using Uni-Assist. Please note, that Uni-Assist charges a fee of 70€ to process your application. This is not a guarantee to get approved.

Make sure to get a visa from the embassy in time! The master programme starts in the first week of october!
Visa
Students from the European Union, the European Economic Area (Iceland, Lichtenstein and Norway) and Switzerland do not need a visa to enter Germany, Portugal or Lithuania.
For up to 3 months, these students may live freely with only a valid identity card/passport. If they choose to stay for longer than 3 months however, they must obtain a Register Certificate at their residence area civil parish hall in order to formalise their right of residence.
Other foreign students must obtain a student visa from the nearest German, Portuguese or Lithuanian Embassy/Consulate before departure from their home country.
Residence permit is issued once you have presented your passport, a Letter of Acceptance from OvGU, UTAD or LSU (sent to the students’ universities after the application documents are processed by coordinators), their accommodation address, a statement of financial support, and a guarantee of health assistance.
